Back in May 2007, RFD member jbfd found an online Zeller’s flyer that had a home theatre system deal of incredible value. He’d found a mouse rollover image in the flyer’s electronics section that indicated that a particular cheapo system was “unavailable” and would beĀ “substituted with a choice of three systems.”
Both I and my roommate, bought the substitute Phillips DVD home theatre systems! These 5.1 stereo systems have woofers, USB ports and most importantly DIVX! They normally sold for $269.99. I ended up paying just $50.13 after tax – though in actuality the Phillips system was even cheaper than that as I had to buy a set of batteries to bring the $10.00 FACEBOOK coupon into effect.
I took pictures of the event and posted them to the RFD thread.

I wish I’d bought two of these DVD systems!

That’s amazing! Enjoy yourselves. I think it’s okay to piss off the neighbors too, so don’t be shy
